(5) Game Story
The character, for some reason, blundered into his dream world during sleep. His appearance has become
strange. While searching for the exit, the protagonist discovers the monster who also survives in this
world and gradually learns that this monster is human like himself, only that he has become a monster
because he has been trapped in this world for too long and has lost his mind. If the protagonist does
not leave soon, he, too, will gradually turn into a monster.
The story has two endings, and the player can choose to leave alone or help the monster regain his
senses and leave together.
(6) Game Narrative
The game uses a fragmented narrative, allowing players to discover the game's story and the monsters'
origins for themselves.
(7) Core Experience
Players hide from the monster, searching for exits in a weirdly styled world.
(8) Core Mechanics
Roam, Hide & Attack, Collect
Roam: Players can explore the world and choose their route to play according to their preferences.
Hide & Attack: Players need to avoid the monster and can also attack it. In the game, the player can
attack by "screaming". [Edvard Munch’s "The Scream" inspired the design of this attack.]
Collect: Players must search for pieces of the game's story to open the door to escape.
Searching for the clues that the monster leaves before it loses its mind and saves it is possible.
